It all started with an ice skating date. She fell while skating with him on that date. Like a true gentleman, he helped her get up. She smiled. And she knew. He was the one. With one small act, he had won her heart. They found each other and now they are going to spend the rest of their lives together. Picking each other up. Being each other’s shelter. Being there for each other. Forever.
And so we headed out to Whatcom Falls to just hang out and have fun for their engagement shoot. Naomi & Eddy spent the day being openly affectionate towards each other. They kissed, they hugged, they whispered in each other’s ears. They laughed, they kissed some more. And, more importantly, they loved each other in a way that was evident to everyone around them.
We are quite excited to hang out again with this fabulous couple as they marry next May at the Whispering Firs. They are an utterly amazing couple and Joe & I can’t wait to see what they have in store for their wedding! The engagement shoot at Whatcom Falls was such a blast…and we know the fun has just begun!
And as promised, here is the full post on our recent e-shoot with this couple.
We started out by Whatcom Fall’s romantic stone bridge.
And ended up walking down to the waterfalls.
We managed to capture a few rays of the sun setting behind the forest trees. Just look at how he adores her.
Naomi’s has these unbelievably amazing eyes. So dreamy.
The setting & natural lighting for this photo is romantic.
One of my fave shots of Eddy sitting by the Whatcom Fall’s moss covered stone bridge.
Joe found this cool little “cave-like” corner by the falls. There was this huge rock covered with moss. And I knew I had to get a shot of them there. Naomi (the brave) had to be walk by a few scary looking spiders to get there but she was such a trooper…she managed to make it there long enough for us to get a few frames.
Before we left for the day, we just had to take this shot of the two of them hanging out by Eddy’s cool truck.
Naomi & Eddy, thanks again for hanging out with us that day. What a fun shoot and Joe & I are really thrilled that you had asked us to be your photographers…what an honor. We really can’t wait to see all the amazing things you had planned for your wedding day!
